Authors retain copyright. Bayrakol Medical Publishing receives a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the work under clear open-access terms.
Ownership stays with the authors
Bayrakol Medical Publishing respects author intellectual property rights and requires transparency in copyright ownership, publication licensing, and the use of third-party material.

COPYRIGHT OWNERSHIP
Authors retain
copyright
Unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific work, copyright in articles published by Bayrakol journals remains with the author(s).
- Authors retain ownership of the copyright in their published work.
- Copyright ownership is not transferred to the publisher as a condition of publication.
- Where a work has multiple authors, copyright is held jointly by the authors named on the article, subject to applicable law and any institutional agreements.
PUBLISHING LICENSE
Non-exclusive rights
to publish
By accepting publication, authors grant Bayrakol Medical Publishing a non-exclusive license to publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, and communicate the work as the first publisher.
- The publisher may publish the work in print and electronic formats and make it available through journal platforms and indexing or discovery services.
- Unless a journal states otherwise, the work is published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).
- Authors complete the journal’s copyright and license agreement (or equivalent declaration) as part of the publication process.
- License terms applicable to each article are displayed on the article page.

AUTHOR RIGHTS AFTER PUBLICATION
Share with
attribution
After publication, authors may share and reuse their work in ways consistent with the applicable Creative Commons license and journal policy.
- Authors may deposit the Version of Record in institutional or subject repositories, personal websites, or scholarly profiles.
- Any reuse must include appropriate citation of the journal as the original place of publication and the DOI where available.
- Commercial reuse remains subject to the non-commercial terms of CC BY-NC 4.0, unless separate permission is obtained.
THIRD-PARTY MATERIAL
Permission before
inclusion
Authors are responsible for securing all rights needed to include copyrighted or third-party material in their manuscripts.
- Figures, tables, images, questionnaires, software screenshots, and other third-party materials require appropriate permission or a valid license for publication.
- Authors must provide acknowledgements and permission statements as required by the rights holder.
- Material used under fair dealing / fair use or similar exceptions must still be accurately attributed; authors remain responsible for determining whether such use is lawful.
- The publisher may request documentation of permissions before publication.

the license
Uses permitted by the applicable Creative Commons license do not require additional publisher permission. Requests for uses outside those terms should be directed as follows.
