Subclavian Steal Syndrome Causing Angina Following Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery

Coronary subclavian steal syndrome is a rare complication that may complicate cardiac surgery follow-up. In this report, a 66 year-old male patient was presented with angina and a history of coronary artery bypass grafting 12 years ago. Subclavian steal syndrome that was responsible of angina was treated successfully by left carotid-subclavian artery bypass.

Incidental Aortic Penetrating Ulcer Diagnosed Intraoperatively

A 56 year old male patient was operated for coronary artery disease. Intraoperatively, a protrusion on the anterior wall of the ascending aorta was observed. There was a communication between the aortic lumen and the protruding lesion. It was thought to be a pre-dissecting ulcerous atherosclerotic plaque.
