Fibrous Obliteration of the Appendiceal Lumen (Neural Hyperplasia)

Fibrous obliteration of the appendiceal lumen (neural hyperplasia) is a very rare histopathological entity in children. Physical exam showed localized peritoneal irritation in the right lower quadrant.?Neural hyperplasia?is potentially a precursor to carcinoid.
